More Visitors

We had more visitors this weekend. We saw Aunty Sarah Saturday.
Then Sunday we saw Gamma Nan and Poppy Frank.

3 Weeks Old

Baby Nandini had a 3 week doctor's appointment to make sure she is gaining weight. She's now 8lbs and 6 oz.
Wonderfully healthy. Hard to believe 21 days have gone by. I'm feeling better and better every day.
Meena loves to cuddle, hug, kiss and make silly faces with her little sister. Every time I'm done nursing she asks to hold her.

Over the weekend Dylan and Baby Hailey came over and brought their cool bouncy house to share with Meena.

Family Weekend

8 month old, Gabriella, gets a good look at a little baby.





We were so lucky to have warm weather the weekend of Oct 7th, 8th and 9th.
PopPop, Ryan, Scarlett, Gabriella, Serena, Megan, Emily and Rachel all came to visit us. Baby Nandini was only 8 days old but I could tell she was happy to visit with everyone.

One week old

The baby had her one week doctor's appointment. They said she was perfect. She has already gained some and she's back up to 7 lbs and 13 oz. Yay! Nursing and sleeping well. I even get to take naps now too.

Thank you mom for coming up to help. You and Chad are taking good care of me and Meena.
Baby Nandini is a true blessing.

Coming Home from the hospital

We came home from the hospital on Saturday October 1st. Meena was so excited to hold her sister for the first time.
We are so proud of them both.

Day 2 of Chana's life.

We had a great day. Nandini is getting stronger and wanted to eat every 90 minutes or so through the night and most of the day. Around 5 she passed out for a three and a half hour nap. This bodes well for her to start sleeping longer at night! Nandini already holds her head up pretty well to the astonishment of the nursing staff.

Stacey is still very sore but was able to get a shower and looks like she is feeling much better today.

Last night after work, Grandma Nan and Poppy Frank came to meet our little girl. She slept the entire time they were here (Meena did this her first time with them too!)

Grandma Nan picked up Nanni Esther and Meena and brought them to the hospital for a visit. After an hour or so, Grandma Nan took Meena to her house for some one on one time and Nanni got to dote on her newest (6th!) Granddaughter. Nandini is Stacey's middle name (Her father's official name was Nandan) and Jane was the name everyone called Esther's Mom.

Tomorrow we go home! Meena is anxious to have us all back at home.
