Birthday Girl

Can you believe a year ago last week I was in the hospital with Nandini?  Our little baby Chana has grown up so much.  She is our healthy, fun, often fidgety, little toddler now who loves to explore new things and follow her big didi around everywhere she goes.

Nandini had a nice quiet birthday but she really wasn't sure what to do when we all stood around her and sang the  "Happy Birthday" song.

Then that night we got lots of cuddles before early bedtime.  So much excitement for our little Chana.

Anniversary Sunday- 7 years

As is our tradition we like to visit  the South Glastonbury church in which we got married 7 years ago.  We even got to take the cute ferry there across the Connecticut River.

Pillow Fort & Playing Outside

Chana and Pinto-Bean got to play in their own pillow fort.   They were so cute talking quietly to each other in there.   Then we got to play outside

We have channelled Nandini's energy into helping us.

She's great at this job.  She doesn't stop until the basket is empty.

Chana spends lots of time pulling pots and pans out of the kitchen cabinets.

Yesterday we had a lovely picnic outside.  Chana is talking up a storm.

Then just the girls got to go to the National Zoo in D. C. and spent time with Aunty Nicole.

Then we all got a turn on the zip line at Quinn & Sue's Treehouse Base Camp.   All of us except Chana.

 Chana waited for her sister patiently because she's too little to ride the big girl rides then we watched some great shows where all the characters danced and sang.  Mommy got her monster hugs in too.

Had a blast!  Got some sun.  Fun Family Time.

Relaxing weekend and Baptism

We had my friend Cathy visit with us last week.  She got to meet Nandini and play 'grocery store' with Meena. Then just enjoyed a relaxing weekend and playing around in the bath,  Finally today, Nandini  got baptized.  We are so grateful for the sunny weather during the morning and the short rainstorms in the evening.
